Introducing New Colorways in the Sinn 104 and U1 C
Sinn, one of our favorite utilitarian German brands, unveiled multiple new timepieces in updates to the 104 and U1 lines this morning. Both the 104, Sinn’s beefy pilots’ watch with a bidirectional bezel, and the U1, the brand’s divers’ watch made from German submarine steel, have reached cult status over the years for their good looks, reliability, and value. What we have today is two new dial colors for the 104 St Sa with the distinguishers 1 A and 1 B, and a new dial color for the U1, with the name U1 B.

The U1 B(lue) has a galvanized blue dial that helps it stand out compared to the brand’s previous versions. In fact, this might be the most “casual” iteration of the U1 yet, if you can call a watch made from German submarine steel casual, that is. Seriously though, the dark blue dial colorway is a great addition to the U1 lineup and it comes with a matching blue silicone strap or a stainless steel bracelet. Everything else that you appreciate about the U1 is still here including 1,000-m water resistance, enhanced seawater resistance thanks to the German submarine steel case, the crown’s placement at 4 o’clock, the scratch-resistant bezel with TEGIMENT technology, and exceedingly high legibility. Price: 1,820 euros (USD pricing not available at press time)
